Industrial Training Institute Barbil is directly under the administrative control of the Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Odisha, Skill Development & Technical Education Department, and the Government of Odisha. The syllabus & certification is controlled by the Directorate General of Employment & Training (DGE&T) or National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT), formed under the Government of India. The college wanted better industrial participation, so the Institution Management Committee (IMC) was formed with representatives from the industry under the Chairmanship of the head of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., Barbil, Odisha. All the training and infrastructure in ITI, Keonjhar is guided and directed by the IMC.

• ITI Keonjhar provides the following schemes for welfare of its students:

• PMS for Minority candidates through NSP
• PMS for Beedi/Cine/Mine Workers children through NSP

• Applicants are advised to read the Common Prospectus carefully before filling and submitting the CAF.
• To apply for the online application form for ITI Courses, the applicant must visit the website specified for applying.
• The candidate must prepare a soft copy of a scanned Photograph (in jpg format & size should be below 100KB) before filling the CAF.
• An applicant has to complete four steps to complete their application, i.e.
• Student Registration, Fill out the application form, Upload images, and Online Payment ofApplication Fees.
• On the homepage, there is a tab named ‘ITI’ / ‘e-Admission (Government & Private ITIs) for the ITIAdmission Page. By clicking the ‘ITI ‘tab, you will go to the ITI admission page; there, you click on the ‘Student Registration’ icon to get the registration page. Where an applicant can register themself & after registration, they can sign in & apply for the CAF.
